Traffic Jam is a curated market celebrating vintage goods, independent makers, and creative small businesses on California’s Central Coast. We love well-curated vintage collections alongside artists and makers producing original handmade work. Join us in downtown Atascadero for a lively market full of great finds, great vendors, and a great community.

Traffic Jam Vintage + Handmade Market was started by Jen and Amy after years of popping up at markets throughout San Luis Obispo County. Along the way, they kept hearing the same thing from fellow vendors: there weren’t many opportunities to pop up in North County—especially at markets that were thoughtfully curated.

So they decided to create one.

Traffic Jam was founded to bring together vintage dealers, artists, and makers in a market that feels intentional, creative, and welcoming. The goal is to create a market with a strong mix of great vintage and original handmade goods, while keeping booth fees accessible and affordable for vendors.

They also understand the vendor experience because they’ve been there themselves. Jen popped up as a vendor at the very first Traffic Jam markets, and Amy will be joining this season with vintage from her shop, Golden State Goods in downtown Atascadero.
